American actor Rob Lowe who can currently be seen in the US sitcom “Parks and Recreation” will portray President JFK in “Killing Kennedy”, a two-hour National Geographic ‘factual drama’ based on the 2012 book “Killing Kennedy: The End of Camelot” by TV news commentator Bill O'Reilly and author Martin Dugard.

“Something Borrowed” actress Ginnifer Goodwin will be First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy, while the young Michelle Trachtenberg will play Marina, Lee Harvey Oswald’s Soviet-born wife. The actor who will play Oswald is yet unknown.

The movie follows the parallel lives of Kennedy and assassin Lee Harvey Oswald from 1959 up until their paths cross in 1963. It will premiere later this year to coincide with the 50th anniversary of Kennedy's assassination.

“Healing in the Heartland: Relief Benefit Concert” organized and headlined by Blake Shelton, one of the coaches of NBC’s show "The Voice", is a relief telethon taking place at Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City on May 29th 2013, hoping on gathering some funds for those in great need after the tornado that hit the area last week.

The tickets for this concert sold out in less than five minutes as soon as they hit the market on Sunday morning. The concert will also be aired live from Oklahoma starting with 9 PM by NBC and other Comcast owned networks.

On stage there are supposedly going to perform known and awarded music artists as: Usher, Darius Rucker, Miranda Lambert, Reba, Vince Gill, Luke Bryan, Rascal Flatts and Ryan Tedder (of OneRepublic) have already announced their presence at this benefit intended for United Way of Central Oklahoma May Tornadoes Relief Fund.

Benjamin Géza Affleck-Boldt, known to you movie lovers as Ben Affleck, the actor of “Armageddon”, “Dogma”, “Reindeer Games”, “Daredevil”, ”State of Play”, “The Company Men” and “Argo”, has received a doctor of fine arts degree during this weekend.

The Academy Award-winning actor and director, has received one of six honorary doctorate degrees from Brown University, along with: author and MIT Professor Junot Diaz; retired Stanford University bacteriologist Stanley Falkow; Tougaloo College President Beverly Wade Hogan; Robert Wood Johnson Foundation President Risa Lavizzo-Mourey; and Miami Dade College President Eduardo Padron.

Affleck, dressed as he never did on screen, was among many others to receive degrees from the well-known Ivy League school during commencement exercises, as the university presented more than 2,400 degrees on Sunday.

The young actor who had a supporting role in 2010's “Kick-Ass” will next be seen in the comedy “Adult World”, and also in the third season of “American Horror Story” as protagonist Kit Walker.

Peters will be joining Jennifer Lawrence, Halle Berry, and Hugh Jackman in the superhero sequel of “X-Men”, which will feature the X-Men traveling in time to alter a major event threatening mankind. The film hits theaters in the summer of 2014.
