Carly Rae gets a call from “90210”
Carly Rae Jepsen has been booked to perform on “90210”.
The “Call Me Maybe” singer will guest star on the TV series in the autumn, and will sing a song from her upcoming second album in the opening episode of season five. In the episode, the 26-year-old - Justin Bieber's signing - is the headlining act at Adrianna's (Jessica Lowndes) Las Vegas premiere, which is interrupted when news gets out about Dixon's (Tristan Wilds) car accident.
"We fell in love with her song when we first heard it, and used it in last season's finale before it was a national sensation," “90210” executive producers Patti Carr and Lara Olsen said. "We think she's an exciting artist and are thrilled to be able to have her music on the show again, this time in a live performance in our season premiere."
