Darren Aronofsky prepares ark
On Wednesday, the filmmaker tweeted a picture of the mammoth ship that's being constructed by Paramount for Aronofsky's upcoming Biblical epic Noah.
Some sources say Aronofsky’s story will focus on the land before the flood, more than the actual event itself. They’ve also described it as a “violent, freaky, scary world” unlike anything we’ve seen before. It also seems that the movie will be based on the comic book series co-created by Aronofsky, producer Ari Handel and artist Nico Henrichon. In it, Noah is described as a Mad Max-style warrior, unlike any other man on earth.
Aronofsky's Noah stars Russell Crowe, Emma Watson, Jennifer Connelly and Logan Lerman -- along with a veritable mangerie of animals.
